A former CFL football player has been credited with disarming an upset woman who allegedly brought a gun to a Florida high school as a brawl broke out inside the gymnasium.  Lin-J Shell, 36, won the Grey Cup with the Calgary Stampeders in 2014. He’s also played for the B.C. Lions, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Toronto Argonauts, but has since moved on to teaching physical education at Jean Ribault High School in Jacksonville, Fla. London Police are trying to identify a man who allegedly abducted a 4-year-old child Sunday morning. The child was taken by an older man in the area of Barker Street and Melsandra Avenue around 9:15 a.m. He then fled in a vehicle described as a gold or beige-coloured older model 4-door Chevrolet Impala. Hall of Fame hockey coach Clare Drake died at the age of 89 Sunday morning. He was the University of Alberta’s Golden Bears coach for 28 years, winning six national titles and 17 conference championships. Drake was the most successful coach in college hockey history. Provincial police are appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing man from Severn Township. James Patreau, 55, is missing from a group home in Coldwater and was last seen on May 12th. Police says Patreau is known to go for a walk after dinner and usually returns around 8:30 p.m. for medication. He is described as 5’8”, 180lbs with a heavier build and short black hair.
