Police searching for pair of missing kids last seen in the North End

The Winnipeg Police Service is asking for the public’s help in finding 9-year-old Farah Dunsford and 10-year-old Sheamus Duck. The two kids were last seen around Powers Street and Selkirk Avenue at approximately 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 28. Dunsford was seen wearing a blue t-shirt and black pants. Duck was wearing a black t-shirt with an Air Jordan logo, black and blue baseball cap and black pants. Police say argument between mother and son led to death threat

A 24-year-old Chatham man is facing charges after he threatened to kill his mother, police say. Police were called to a St. Clair Street home around 10 p.m. Saturday. They say a man and his mother were arguing and the man broke several dishes. Police say he then prevented his mother from leaving the residence while he continued to argue with her. The man was eventually forced out of the residence but returned and began kicking the door, police say, and he was able to force his way back inside.Read More
