The search for a missing pilot has ended with the discovery of his Cessna 172 in a wooded area northwest of Edmonton. The wreckage of a small plane was discovered on Thursday afternoon in Lac Ste. Construction begins for Windsor’s Miracle League diamond
After just one year of fundraising, Riverside Minor Baseball is breaking ground on a new Miracle League baseball diamond in east Windsor. A sod turning ceremony was held Wednesday morning to mark the official start of construction. The field, next to the existing Riverside baseball diamonds on Wyandotte Street East, will allow children with disabilities to participate in minor baseball programs. St. Thomas police continue to search for a missing 13-year-old girl. Police issued a release Saturday saying Aliyah Edwards was last seen Friday about 3:30 p.m. She has long dark hair, dyed red. Santa Cabrini Hospital to undergo hefty renovations
The provincial government is investing tens of millions of dollars to expand and redesign Santa Cabrini Hospital in Montreal. Health Minister Gaetan Barrette and the MNA for Jeanne Mance Viger, Filomena Rotiroti, announced the $48 million project on Monday.
