Charges expected after truck slams into back of school bus in P.E.I.

The RCMP are investigating after a pickup truck slammed into the back of a school bus carrying 26 children in Central Bedeque, P.E.I. Police say the collision happened on Route 171 around 3:20 p.m. Thursday. Police say the school bus had stopped to allow children to exit the vehicle when it was struck from behind by the truck. Provincial police are investigating a shooting in Oro-Medonte on Monday night. Barrie OPP say they responded to a call that a man had been shot on Old Barrie Road in the Village of Rugby around 9:20 p.m. The victim, a 37 year-old Aurora man was transported to a Toronto area hospital with life threatening injuries.
