Cool and wet weather has continued to delay harvest in the province. Saskatchewan’s weekly crop report says 82 per cent of crop is in the bin, up from 78 per cent last week. Producers remain behind the five-year average of 91 per cent for this time of year. Warm and dry weather predicted for the coming weeks should help producers get back out into the field. Windy Weather

Strong southwesterly winds are expected in Windsor and surrounding areas today as a cold front moves into the region. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement stating gusts up to 80 km/h are expected to develop this afternoon and evening. Get ready for up to 40 millmeters of rain starting Sunday. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent. The remnants of Tropical Depression Gordon are expected to affect parts of the area late Sunday and Monday. Rain is expected to begin over the north shore of Lake Erie Sunday afternoon and continue into Monday.
